HOW TO HAVE SPEND NO MONEY DAYS

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

I really love a spend no money day.

It’s a nice feeling when you’ve not opened your purse, or given any of your money to anyone, for anything! And, it kind of makes you feel a teeny bit smug.

With a bit of planning and a degree of determination, it’s really easy for a girl on a pension, or anyone to have quite a few spend no money days in a month.

Firstly, yes I know you’ve got to eat, but once you’ve got a few basics in your cupboard, rice, pasta, tuna, etc, and some bargain yellow sticker meat in your freezer, then after a little trip to Lidl, and a smallish spend, you can live very nicely thank you for quite a few days without spending any money AT ALL.

THERE’S EVEN AN APP

There is an app for your phone called Habit Share which you can track exactly how many days you have done something……, been to the gym, gone without sugar, not spent any money.

It’s really useful and seems to give you that motivation that you might need to keep going.

WILL YOU GO RED OR GREEN?

This is just an example, but as you can see, you could colour your spend no money days either green or red, and add to them as the month goes on.

Download it onto your phone. Go to your Apps Store, and it’s ‘habitshare’. You don’t have to ‘share’. Just keep it as a reminder, of how much you are NOT spending!

How many spend no money days can you have a month.
